ESOS
The Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is part of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive (EU/2007/12). A mandatory requirement for businesses with 250 OR more employees or £42 million turnover with a balance sheet over £35million as of December 31st 2014.
Your business may be eligible without meeting that criteria if you are part of a larger corporate group, any businesses within this group would also need to comply with the scheme in place.
ESOS assessment
To assess the savings that can be made through ESOS we first need to carry out energy audits on your business. Measuring your consumption within a defined period and reviewing the results.
Our assessment will look for the most cost-effective ways of reducing your energy usage, leading to smaller bills. Completing the assessment isn't enough on its own to start saving your business money you must ensure that you implement the guidance you are given.
